Recently, BLACKPINK’s Jennie made waves for her appearance at the 2024 MET Gala. In particular, the female idol showed up in a bold dress from Alaïa and accessories with pearl accents, carrying vibes reminiscent of the sea.
However, Jennie’s outfit also received a lot of criticism, and one post focusing on Jennie’s feet has gained significant attention with over 10 thousand likes on SNS platform X (formerly Twitter).
Particularly, the post implied that Jennie’s shoes were not fitted to her feet, and mocking words such as “ugly”, “botched”, and “IDK why she would decide to wear that” can be seen under the comment section.
Amid all these criticisms, however, Jennie published several photos on her Instagram, showing off her MET Gala look. Included among them is a close up of her heels, implying that the shoes actually fit like a dream.
As a result, while this could just be a coincidence, some fans suspect that Jennie has basically subtly dissed the people who went as far as to mock her feet.
